After a break of a long 37 days from running (ever since the Wedding Run on National Day), with only 2 treadmill runs, I finally pulled myself together to force myself to go for a run on Sat mrn.
Didn't want to do a long one not knowing how my legs are feeling, so decided to just do the usual route to Upper Thomson and back. Started with a faster than usual pace, I bet the long rest did a lot of good to my legs. It didn't feel so heavy and sluggish, there was a little spring in the legs. Cool. But I got tired quickly possibly from the pace and also the long break. Decided to change course 20+mins into the run and ran to Lower Seletar Reservoir Park instead.
Was a simple run, didn't want to explore any new routes. Just wanted to be out and testing my legs.
Finished the run in 1hr 50mins. Total distance about 16km. Slow, but I'm not complaining.
Reminder to self : Stretch, stretch & more stretching

Am happy for you. It is good that you are back.
Dear mei mei, your pace is not slow hor. I did a 17km run last week in 2hr 17mins. *Shy* *Maloo*
If I have stopped for 37days, I would have been slower.
Although speed is relative to individuaL, I still think you deserve a 2 thumbs up. Well done, gal!
hi, try not to pump up your mileage too much all of a sudden. Be careful of any injury again.
Woohoo! Xiao Mei is on the way back liao :D
Great that you managed to slot in a weekend run... slowly ease back into the lower limb exercises okay?
I agree with Ronnie, a bit too long a distance. Take care.
