In Chinese customs, today is also what is known as Dong1 Zhi4. Dong Zhi is a time for family reunion. Tang Yuan, sweet soup of glutinuous rice flour balls, is indispensible during this festival. And thanks to my sister, I had yummy tangyuan for breakfast today.
So, here's wishing everyone a Happy Dong Zhi ! May you have a wonderful family/friends reunion. Must eat tangyuan ok ? :P
PS: Winter Solstice is also the shortest day and the longest night of the year. So we should work less today and play longer (& harder) tonight! Woo hoooo!!!
