Prelude to Weekend Celebration - Tong Shui Pig-Out!

Yippeeee! After the last LSD @ ECP where we first heard about the yummy HK desserts like peanut butter toast, we finally managed to have a taste of it last Friday.

Been looking fwd to eating at Tong Shui for the entire week, and frankly, that's what helped keep me going (hehe, what to do, I'm just such a glutton! :P). Many people can't make it on Friday night and ended up only Teelee, Roentgen & Divey were able to join for this pig out session.

We ordered quite a number of dishes including the infamous peanut butter toast. We also ordered this mixed fruit toast and banana toast (a bit the overloaded on toast eh? :P). The toast unfortunately is just so-so, nothing fantastic. The mango dessert that Divey ordered was alright. The ice however was frozen hard that we had to wait for the ice to melt !

Verdict: Food isn't all that fantastic and nothing to rave about, but as usual, the company sure makes up for all the shortfalls! Thanks folks for the wonderful company! A great start to the weekend! *2 thumbs up*

Interesting... the pictures of the food turned out even more enticing than expected! The ambience of the place was unique, bordering on "disturbing" because of the strong pink and green colours - but I guess that was intentional :)

And of course, it was great company, and a nice way to sample new and previously undiscovered POJs (Pig-Out-Joints)! :P
