After a week of rest, I'm back in the gym and after some initial struggle, I'm happy to say I'm doing much better today!
Went for a very quick swim this morning. Was very apprehensive. "Can I swim ? ", "Am I going to struggle and really feel lousy about it ?"
When I hit the water, I just did a slow swim and thankfully i got into the groove and just took it slow and easy.
Decided not to practise freestyle as that will just cause my confidence to plummet so I just spent 30mins swimming my breast-stroke without any long breaks.
This is such a stark contrast to the past 2 to 3 weeks where I was pausing after each lap!
The spin was good. Instructor change again. Seems like the instructors keep switching their sessions. I was actually quite disappointed to see the ang mo instructor in front of the class this morning, coz I don't really like his style. But he surprises me today by being quite good. He was motivating, and was dishing out tips on how to ride better. Making us visualise the course that we were doing so that we could better appreciate the spin, and how hard to spin etc.
