Ended my Sunday out with a surprise find - Werner's Oven at Siglap. Initially wanted to have some ice cream at Gelare but I happened to see this signage and excitedly asked to check out. I had got to know about this place when watching TV Mobile on my way to work and had wanted to check it out. Well, unfortunately didn't have a chance to. This is a place that serves German fare. Since I was with someone who was suffering from lack of appetite -_-", so I just ordered a pumpkin soup and one of their German specials of pork sausage with potato salad and saukernaut (sp?).

The pumpkin soup ($5.80) was nice. The sausage was a tad too salty for me. Ok, maybe this is how it should be, just that I'm not very into salty stuff. I'm not really into sausages too actually (which lead me to wonder why I was in there in the first place -DUH! :P). The saukernaut & salad was nice though. But for the price of like $18.50 for that dish, I feel that its FREAKIN ex! Daylight robbery lor. Anyway, paid for the experience. At least I finally get to try out this place. Thanks for the company! :)
